Product introduction

SHWL-8501 is a flame-retardant cable material based on polyethylene, which is processed by adding halogen-free flame retardant and other processing aids. It has good self-extinguishing property, good flame retardant effect and excellent cracking resistance. It is suitable for the sheath of halogen-free low smoke cables in special occasions of power cables. It is also suitable for insulation and weatherability of power cables.

SHWL-8501 meets the requirements of ROHS and REACH, and is a green and environmental resistant fuel.

processing guidelines

It can be applied to ordinary PE screw extrusion with a length-diameter ratio of 25:1 to obtain the best extrusion effect. The drawing ratio of the die should not be too large during extrusion. The warm water-cold water cooling is adopted to minimize the internal stress of the sheath.

The melt temperature is controlled between 155 and 170 C.

If the material is stored in humid environment for a long time, drying treatment is recommended. The drying temperature is 80 C and the drying time is 1 - 2 hours.

Storage and Packaging

It should be stored in a dry and ventilated warehouse. The products are packed in 25kg paper-plastic composite bags or 500kg container bags. They can also be packed according to user's requirements.
